Finally! Emily gets a pet! Isn’t he cute? Don’t you just want to cuddle with him? Well, that might be a little slimy, but he’s still cute.
This storyline has been a long time coming, and I want to give credit where it’s due: My wife. She has been instrumental in coming up with Emily’s design and personality. The idea of Emily wanting a pet like Kals’ came up many months ago, before Emily was ever introduced. In fact, today’s strip was entirely her idea, I just helped with the build up.
Emily reminds me of Stewie’s long lost twin sister! At least her pet won’t be one you need to take out for a walk.
Definitely some design influence there:)
I hope she and the earthworm can gain some bonding, to the point where he won’t escape.
